Time for Easter..Hot Cross Buns, Easter Cookies and Resurrection Rolls

What time is it? How much time will it take? Are you sure you have time? I won't take but a minute of your time...

If time is what clocks measure and if time is what sequences events in our lives, it's easy to see why there's never enough of the precious commodity that we all need and want more of.

On a personal note, my days start early with my husband giving me a wake up call around 6:00 am each morning.  He wants to make sure I wake up in plenty of time.  Once awake, I get the kids up and dressed, eat quickly, and rush out the door so we can be to school on time.  I  need to arrive at work on time.  Before I know it, it's time to pick up carpool and get home so that we can make it to all the afternoon events on time.  Once the afternoon slate of events are complete, we have to be home in plenty of time to get dinner on the table, homework and studying done, baths taken, books read, and all children in bed on time. Before I know it, the news is going off.  Is it already that time? Wow, it's time for Mama to get in bed!  We have to be ready to start another day..on time!

I just wrote the word time 15 times!

TIME is moving fast. These sweet preschool days are precious and few.  I hope this weekend you will enjoy an abundance of special time with your families and ones you hold dear. In this post and the one below, you will find 3 great recipes to make and share with your loved ones during this Easter holiday.  Don't worry if baking is "not your thing"...it's not  mine either! I can assure you these recipes are so simple, your children could just about do it themselves with little supervision from you.  Don't stress, just get together in your kitchen and have some fun while making some "sweet" memories!

Please remember that the Weekday Preschool will be closed in observance of the Easter holiday starting this Friday, April 6, 2012, and we will return bright and early on Tuesday morning, April 10, 2012  at 8:45am in morning carpool!
