Happy Veteran's Day 2012!!!
The Weekday Preschool was honored by a visit from Corporal Jimmie Caudle, U.S. Army, on Monday, November 12, 2012. As a part of our Veteran's Day celebration, Corporal Caudle spoke to the boys and girls about the meaning of the holiday and why it is important to honor those who have served. He also spoke about the importance of honoring the families of those who are currently serving. Corporal Caudle's family shared with us how they visited the Veteran's Home and collected can food and cash for the homeless veterans in our state. Corporal Caudle explained how military families sometimes live on bases and he shared that his first base was in Germany! Wow! Can you believe that Corporal Caudle can drive a tank? He even has a medal to show where he was trained! Amazing! The Caudle family led us in the pledge of Alligence at the conclusion of their presentation. Pictured above are Corporal Jimmie Caudle and his wife Danielle. Also pictured are Corporal Caudle's mother, also known as "Gigi", and Callie and Carrie Caudle. We thank this dear family for their service to our country. God bless the Caudle family, and God bless America!
